By accessing our Website, requesting a quote, purchasing a service, submitting project information, or engaging DesignsBoss for a project, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Website or purchase our services.

You may use our Website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Website for unlawful purposes
  • Submit false or misleading information

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Website
  • Upload malicious software or harmful content
  • Copy or reproduce DesignsBoss content without permission
  • Misuse our designs, renderings, photographs, branding, or intellectual property
  • Use automated systems to improperly collect Website content
  • Impersonate another person or business

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Website when reasonably necessary.

3. Project Requests and Quotes

Submitting a project inquiry through our Website does not automatically create a contract.

Before beginning a project, DesignsBoss may review the information provided and determine:

  • Whether the project is within our capabilities
  • The appropriate service
  • The estimated project cost
  • The expected scope
  • The estimated turnaround time
  • The materials required from the client

A quote or estimate is based on the information available to us at the time it is prepared.

If the project scope changes after the quote is provided, additional charges may apply.

4. Project Scope

Each project is based on an agreed scope of work.

The scope may identify:

  • Type of design or rendering
  • Number of views
  • Number of rooms or spaces
  • Level of detail
  • Materials and finishes
  • Landscaping elements
  • Pool and hardscape elements
  • Furniture and décor
  • Requested revisions
  • File formats
  • Delivery requirements
  • Estimated turnaround time

Anything not specifically included in the agreed scope may be considered additional work.

Additional work may require a revised quote before it begins.

5. Client-Provided Information

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information necessary for their project.

Depending on the project, this may include:

  • Architectural plans
  • Floor plans
  • Measurements
  • Site plans
  • Photos
  • Sketches
  • CAD files
  • Material selections
  • Product information
  • Design references
  • Property information
  • Landscaping information
  • Pool dimensions
  • Furniture selections
  • Other project specifications

DesignsBoss relies on the information supplied by the client.

We are not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or incorrect information supplied by the client.

6. Measurements and Existing Conditions

Unless specifically included in a written agreement, DesignsBoss does not provide physical site measurements, property surveys, engineering inspections, structural inspections, or construction-site verification.

If you provide measurements, plans, drawings, photographs, or other information, we will generally rely on those materials when creating the requested visualization.

Clients are responsible for verifying dimensions and existing conditions before using designs for construction or installation.

7. Renderings and Visualizations

Our 3D renderings and visualizations are intended to communicate design concepts, appearance, materials, layout, and overall project vision.

Renderings are representations of a proposed or conceptual project and may not perfectly reproduce the appearance of the final completed project.

Differences may occur because of:

  • Lighting conditions
  • Camera angles
  • Computer displays
  • Material availability
  • Product substitutions
  • Construction methods
  • Landscaping growth
  • Actual site conditions
  • Manufacturer changes
  • Color variations
  • Environmental conditions
  • Other factors outside our control

A rendering should not be interpreted as a guarantee of the exact appearance of the completed project.

8. Renderings Are Not Construction Documents

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, DesignsBoss renderings and visualization products are not architectural, engineering, structural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, surveying, or construction documents.

Our visualizations should not be used as a substitute for drawings or documentation prepared by appropriately licensed professionals when such documents are required.

Clients and contractors are responsible for obtaining all required:

  • Architectural plans
  • Engineering plans
  • Structural documents
  • Surveys
  • Permits
  • Code approvals
  • Construction documents
  • Professional certifications
  • Other required documentation

9. 2D Floor Plans

2D floor plans produced by DesignsBoss are based on the information and measurements supplied or otherwise agreed upon for the project.

Unless specifically stated in writing, a 2D floor plan is a visualization or planning document and is not a certified architectural survey or legally verified construction document.

Clients should independently verify dimensions before construction, permitting, ordering materials, or making structural changes.

10. Revisions

DesignsBoss understands that feedback is an important part of the design process.

The number of revisions included in a project will depend on the package or scope purchased.

Revisions generally refer to reasonable adjustments to the agreed design concept.

Examples may include:

  • Material changes
  • Color changes
  • Furniture changes
  • Landscaping adjustments
  • Minor layout adjustments
  • Lighting adjustments
  • Design-detail changes

Significant changes to the original concept, additional views, additional rooms, major redesigns, or changes made after approval may be considered additional work.

Additional revision charges may apply where the requested changes exceed the included scope.

11. Client Feedback and Approval

Clients are responsible for reviewing drafts and providing feedback within a reasonable period.

Once a design or rendering has been approved by the client, subsequent changes may require additional charges.

Clients should carefully review:

  • Layout
  • Dimensions
  • Materials
  • Colors
  • Furniture
  • Fixtures
  • Landscaping
  • Pool elements
  • Architectural elements
  • Other project details

before providing final approval.

12. Turnaround Times

We strive to complete projects within the estimated timeframe communicated to the client.

Turnaround times may vary depending on:

  • Project complexity
  • Number of views
  • Client responsiveness
  • Revision requests
  • Missing project information
  • Changes to project scope
  • Workload
  • Technical issues
  • Third-party information
  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

A stated turnaround time is an estimate unless a specific guaranteed delivery date is expressly agreed upon in writing.

13. Delays Caused by Client

Project timelines may be extended when a client:

  • Does not provide required information
  • Provides incomplete information
  • Delays feedback
  • Requests additional revisions
  • Changes the project scope
  • Changes materials or specifications
  • Requests a substantial redesign
  • Fails to respond to communications

The revised delivery date may depend on the extent of the delay or scope change.

14. Payments

Clients agree to pay the amount specified for the applicable service or project.

Depending on the project, DesignsBoss may require:

  • Full payment before work begins
  • A deposit
  • Milestone payments
  • Final payment before delivery of final files

Payment requirements will be communicated before or during the purchase process.

Work may not begin until the required payment has been received.

15. Additional Work

If a client requests work outside the original scope, DesignsBoss may provide an additional quote before completing that work.

Additional work may include:

  • Additional renderings
  • Additional rooms
  • Additional views
  • Additional floor plans
  • Major redesigns
  • Extensive revisions
  • New concepts
  • Additional landscaping areas
  • Additional pool areas
  • Additional project phases
  • Rush requests
  • Changes after final approval

The client may be required to approve the additional cost before the work begins.

16. Cancellations and Refunds

Because DesignsBoss provides customized digital services, work may begin specifically for an individual client and may involve substantial time and resources.

Cancellation and refund eligibility may therefore depend on:

  • Whether work has started
  • The amount of work completed
  • The type of service purchased
  • Whether customized files have already been created
  • Whether final files have been delivered
  • The applicable project agreement

Once substantial work has begun, payments may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Any specific cancellation or refund terms provided at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction.

17. Final File Delivery

Final files will be delivered in the format or formats agreed upon for the project.

Depending on the service, final deliverables may include:

  • JPEG files
  • PNG files
  • PDF files
  • 2D drawings
  • 3D rendering images
  • Other agreed digital files

Source files, editable files, CAD files, 3D models, or working files are not automatically included unless specifically stated in the project agreement or purchased separately.

18. Ownership and Intellectual Property

DesignsBoss retains ownership of its original design methods, templates, workflows, processes, software configurations, proprietary materials, and other intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The client’s rights to the final project deliverables will depend on the applicable project agreement and payment status.

Unless otherwise agreed, clients may use completed final deliverables for their intended personal, professional, presentation, marketing, or project-related purposes.

Clients may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or represent DesignsBoss’s underlying proprietary materials as their own independent design service.

19. Client-Supplied Materials

Clients may provide photographs, plans, drawings, logos, product images, references, textures, or other materials for use in a project.

The client represents that they have the necessary rights or permissions to provide those materials to DesignsBoss.

The client is responsible for claims arising from materials they provide that infringe another party’s intellectual property or other rights.

20. DesignsBoss Portfolio and Marketing Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, DesignsBoss may display completed project work in its portfolio, Website, social media, marketing materials, presentations, advertisements, or other promotional materials.

This may include:

  • Renderings
  • 2D designs
  • Project images
  • Before-and-after visuals
  • Design concepts

If a client requires a project to remain confidential or does not want the work used for promotional purposes, the client should communicate that requirement before the project begins.

21. Third-Party Products and Materials

Renderings may include representations of products, furniture, fixtures, materials, landscaping elements, pool equipment, appliances, lighting, or other products.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, DesignsBoss does not guarantee:

  • Product availability
  • Product pricing
  • Exact product dimensions
  • Manufacturer specifications
  • Future product availability
  • Color accuracy
  • Material availability
  • Product performance

Clients and contractors should independently verify product information before purchasing or installing products.

22. No Construction Guarantee

DesignsBoss provides visualization and design-related services.

We do not guarantee the final construction, installation, workmanship, performance, durability, cost, or completion of a project unless DesignsBoss is separately contracted to provide such services.

The actual construction or installation of a project is the responsibility of the appropriate contractor, builder, architect, engineer, installer, or other professional.

23. Professional Verification

Clients are responsible for having designs reviewed by the appropriate licensed professionals when required.

Depending on the project, professional review may include:

  • Architect
  • Structural engineer
  • Civil engineer
  • Surveyor
  • Electrical professional
  • Plumbing professional
  • HVAC professional
  • Licensed contractor
  • Other qualified professionals

DesignsBoss does not represent that a visualization independently satisfies building codes, zoning requirements, HOA requirements, permitting requirements, or other regulatory requirements.

24. Website Content

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information on our Website.

However, Website content may contain:

  • Typographical errors
  • Outdated information

We reserve the right to update Website content at any time.

Website content does not constitute a binding project proposal unless expressly stated otherwise.

25. Intellectual Property on the Website
